Privacy Policy

    Short version: InvoJar works entirely in your browser. The invoices you create, including any business, client, or logo data you enter, are stored only on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not require an account and we do not collect your invoice data.
  

1. Information we do not collect

InvoJar is a client-side tool. When you use the invoice generator:

Your invoice content (business details, client details, line items, notes, uploaded logo) is processed and stored locally in your browser using your browser's local storage.
Your data is never transmitted to, stored on, or visible to our servers. We could not read your invoices even if we wanted to.
When you use the "Share link" feature, your invoice data is encoded into the link itself (in the URL). Anyone with that link can view the encoded invoice, so only share it with people you intend to send it to.

2. Information we do collect

We keep data collection to a minimum:

Basic server logs: like almost all websites, our hosting provider may temporarily log standard request information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operational purposes. This is not used to profile you.
Usage analytics: if we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.

3. Cookies and advertising

InvoJar does not use cookies for advertising at this time. If we later display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense), those third parties may use cookies subject to their own policies, and we will update this policy accordingly.

4. Data retention and deletion

Because your invoices live in your browser's local storage, you can delete all of your data at any time by using the "Reset" button in the app or by clearing your browser's site data. Deleting your browser data permanently removes your saved invoices.

5. Third-party services

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. We do not use third-party tracking scripts. The app itself makes no external network requests with your data.

6. Children's privacy

InvoJar is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
